Where’s all of this coming from?
So here I am writing for you all about this interesting stuff and showing you how you can build something cool in your 20s.
Where’s all of my information coming from? What could I possibly know about freelancing?
I did a killer amount of research so that I could put out the most detailed product available for college graduates.
I read many books. The titles include:
- The 4-Hour Workweek.
- Never Eat Alone.
- Escape From Cubicle Nation.
- The Art of Non-Conformity.
- I Will Teach You To Be Rich.
- Career Renegade.
- And many other blogs/eBooks that I could list off.
In almost every section of my book I include quotes from one of the many pieces of literature that I went through to put this project together.
Oh, and I also earned a formal education in business.
But guess what? None of that matters until you make a damn dollar on your own!
I’ve literally tried everything and done anything humanly possible to prevent looking for a “real” job. I want to work on my own projects forever.
What’s this project all about?
It’s all about getting more out of life and getting out of a shitty situation. It’s about earning a living through work that you enjoy. It’s NOT about chasing some passive income fantasy.
I wanted to start off with a quote from Seth Godin:
“The act of giving someone a smile, of connecting to a human, of taking initiative, of being surprising, of being creative, of putting on a show- these are all things that we do for free all our lives. And then we get to work and expect to merely do what we’re told and get paid for it.”
Does this sound familiar at all?
The answer is most likely yes because most of us are in this very situation. We go to work simply expecting to get paid to follow our job description, nothing more or less. For one reason or another most of us are just “sheepwalking” through life.
What’s sheepwalking? Allow me to borrow from Mr. Godin once again:
“The outcome of hiring people who have been raised to be obedient and giving them brain-dead jobs and enough fear to keep them in line.”
You obviously don’t want t be a sheepwalker or another brain dead 20-something. I know this because you are here.
Let’s go over the most common questions that you likely have on your mind right now.
Q. Can’t I get this information for free online?
A. I’m not going to deceive you. You can easily find this information online. You can check out the table of contents and Google the various topics to see what else is being offered out there.
The benefit of this guide is that I did all of that research for you. I filtered out what’s not important and what’s irrelevant. I make this easy to read and digest.
You get hours of research, filtering, and all of that fun stuff. All you have to do is grab your own copy of this guide. I’ve spent big bucks on courses, books, eBooks, and consulting sessions.
Q. What do you know about freelancing?
A. I’ve always had a traditional job and never really went out on my own. It wasn’t until 2010 that I finally got into freelancing. I decided to stop chasing passive income and being delusional about making money online. I made a commitment to make real money. Freelancing has led to real money.
As a result of freelancing on the side, I had no choice but to master time management. I’ve been able to turn an hour a day from television time to create an eBook time! I’ve learned to get as much as possible done in the least amount of time.
Freelancing has also led to many cool experiences in my life:
- Backpacking through Europe all by myself.
- Going to my first WrestleMania in Miami this year.
- Spending more time with my girlfriend.
- Being able to train with my younger brothers.
I’ve also been much happier and made more money than ever before. I make a few thousand dollars from freelancing on average per month. While this isn’t a fortune, it beats chasing passive income. This is money that I put towards trips.
Q. Why should I trust you with my money?
A. Good question. I respect your money. The answer here is simple. You have NOTHING to lose. There’s a money-back guarantee. You have a month to apply the tips from this guide. If you don’t think of one freelancing idea, just send me an email and I will gladly refund your money.
Q. How do I know this works?
A. I’ve sent this guide to peers, friends, and readers to see what they had to say about the material in here.
Below are a few responses.
“It’s very easy to spend hundreds of dollars on courses and books on earning money. Martin has done all of that and condensed it into 50 pages. Even if you don’t want to freelance, the section on time management is worth the purchase price itself.”
“I found Martin’s Blog through an internet search on what to do after college. After reading some of his posts, I noticed that Martin really wants to help 20-somethings succeed and enjoy their prime years. Start Freelancing Now is good for anyone who needs an extra push to go down the Freelancing path. If you have any questions, you can ask him. He answers every email.”
Q. Is this premium guide for everyone?
A. Absolutely not. If you’re in credit card debt, I want you to deal with this first. I don’t want you putting this on your credit card. If you’re after passive income then this guide isn’t right for you either.
Start Freelancing Now is for those of you that want to master time management and make more money on the side. You can’t be afraid of work. You can’t be afraid of trying new things.
