Most of us play the lottery on a weekly basis. It’s fun to fantasize and imagine being able to retire at an early age. If you win the lottery, you don’t have to worry about working ever again or being miserable. You could be happy all of the time. As a millionaire, you would have the freedom to only do the things that you want to do. You would never be miserable again. Life would be so amazing.
That quick lottery ticket that you play every week is the key to your freedom. Right?
Well, there’s just one problem…
What happens when you don’t win the millions of dollars?
I guess you have no choice but to work. You didn’t become rich over night. You still have to pay your bills, feed yourself, and continue living life. You can’t just stop because you haven’t won the millions. You have to keep on going.
Let’s say that you play the lottery every week for years on, expecting to win. Will this increase your odds? Not at all. The odds are so stacked against that there are ABSOLUTELY no guarantees whatsoever. You can play the lottery for the rest of your life and there’s the possibly that you won’t even get your money back. Wow.
The truth is that I gave up on the lottery a long time ago. I don’t have the time to leave anything up to chance or risk. I want to grab a hold of my own life. I’m far too impatient to sit around waiting for some magic numbers to appear in my favor. Screw that!
The problem is that I’m still not a millionaire nor am I rich by any means.
The good news is that I don’t have any of the following issues:
- I don’t have to work a job I hate.
- I’m not in debt.
- I don’t owe anyone anything.
- I’m not a miserable person that people try to avoid.
And best of all, I get to work on projects that I care about. Such as this site and the video posts that I’ve been pumping out.

Here’s a shocking revelation on freedom…
You can create the life of your dreams! You don’t have to win the lottery.
This isn’t meant to be some corny feel-good piece, I really do believe and trust fully that you can create the life that you want. This doesn’t mean that you have to follow your passions or go on Twitter to brag about how many emails you have in your inbox. That’s lame.
What I mean is that you can live the sort of life that you think is pretty cool. For example, you could have the following:
- Be debt free.
- Travel fairly often.
- Make decent money.
- Be happy doing your job.
- Be a positive person to be around.
- Feel great about yourself.
What do you need to create your dream lifestyle?
The first thing I want to say is that a dream lifestyle really depends on what your goals and what you want out of life. Most of us just don’t want to be miserable. We want enough money to not be broke and to feel amazing on a daily basis. Does that sound about right?
What’s required to live this dream lifestyle?
You have to be debt-free. When you’re in debt, you’re always struggling to stay on top of your payments. You don’t have much breathing room. You’re being choked. Your paychecks are going straight to your debt payments. You never get to truly enjoy your money.
You need to have some money coming in. I don’t live in some utopian society where love is the currency. You need to make money to keep a roof over your head, pay the bills, and have the things that you want without going into massive amounts of debt.
You finally need some flexibility in your life. This means that you don’t want to be forced to work some job that makes you feel like crap all day. You want the time (the greatest commodity in my opinion) to do the things that interest you.
This all ties into the point of this site — FREELANCING.

I love freelancing for two simple reasons:
- You get paid. Instead of worrying about passive income or starting an automated company, you do work that you get paid for. You receive real money that you can have for yourself.
- You can make money on your own schedule. You can also set your own schedule now. You don’t have to worry about rush hour. You can work any hours that you wish.
You have to earn you freedom. I don’t believe in any of this crap about quitting your job today so that you can make $455/hour by tomorrow. That’s not how it works.
The way it works is simple: you use your skills to make money, you increase your income, you save more money, and you get to do cool shit. Pretty simple to me.

The best way to live like a millionaire is to be a millionaire. But, that of course takes effort and time. I truly believe many people can do it if they have a plan.
